To simply describe Ancon as simply a system development company that has been creating software for the restaurant industry since 1998 is to tell only part the story. Passion and a drive to always do better are at the heart of all we do. 

Ancon started as a technology company in Lysekil, on the west coast of Sweden, back in 1984. But it was in 1998 that we started developing software for the restaurant and hospitality industry, delivering over 2500 cash registers and POS-systems.

304% growth over the last four years

In 2015, the company invested in growth and added a new management team. Since then, the company has taken an upwards trajectory of both innovation and growth. We’ve developed the cloud-based platform that all of our products are based on, expanded to four offices across Sweden—and have experienced a 304% growth in revenue over four years, making us a two-time recipient of Dagens Industri’s Gasellpris.

Today our product lineup includes full range of POS solutions for restaurants, including express self-checkout kiosks, digital kitchen displays, and even an order app, with development continuing on an ongoing basis on existing and new offerings, with eleven developers split between our Lysekil and Örebro offices.
